Layout

Change Side Bar Location (right or left):

• Go to Configuration>Institution>Discovery>Display Configuration>Configure Views then Edit your View
• In General Tab, under General Attributes, choose from drop-down for “Side bar (Tweak my results) position”
  

Visibility:

• Go to Configuration>Institution>Discovery>Display Configuration>Configure Views then Edit your View
• In Brief Results tab, turn facets on or off, reorder them, determine in which search profile slots you'd like them to display, etc.:
  

Facet Names:

• Go to Configuration>Institution>Discovery>Display Configuration>Labels
• Switch the drop-down from Code to Description and search for the text that you want to change (e.g. Tweak my results).
• Click on the three dots on the right to customize the table that contains the text that you want to change
• Make your changes and save:

Checkboxes:

By default, the Facet checkboxes display only on mouseover. They can be made to display persistently with CSS code. See the discussion on the Improve usability of exclude/include facet options Idea Exchange entry for code text and examples.

Course Reserves:

Facets missing from Course Reserve search: many of the general facets are defined as "ALL_NOT_CR" under Search Profile Slots, meaning they won't appear for the Course Reserves profile. Edit the Library facet and enabled the "ALL" option using the slidebar. This facet will now appear in a Course Reserves search. You can do the same for the other facets as desired.
